Two men, accused of the murder of Argentine singer Fede Dorcaz, have been remanded in custody. The accused, identified as Andy “N” and Geovanni “N”, will remain at the South Male Preventive Detention Center while the investigation continues. The Attorney General's Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) and the Capital Citizen Security Secretariat reported that both individuals were detained in separate operations as part of an investigation that included raids and an armed confrontation. According to the authorities, “three men on motorcycles blocked his path and several subjects got off, including Andy ‘N’, who, in the company of Geovanni ‘N’, allegedly fired a firearm at him.” After the attack, the presumed perpetrators “got back on a motorcycle and fled the scene.” During their capture, there was a “pursuit and an exchange of fire with SSC personnel, in which one of them was injured and received medical attention.” On Sunday, November 23, during a hearing, the CDMX Prosecutor's Office obtained the remand of both accused for the crime of intentional homicide. The judicial authority ordered the precautionary measure of preventive prison and set a two-month deadline for the completion of the complementary investigation.
